Wave3 Digital Trust LLC ("Wave3," "we," "us," or "our") operates the websites chat-with-impossible.com, chatpack.studio, and related chat-with-X domain properties (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Email addresses submitted through early access forms, story submission forms, or chat email capture prompts.
  • Story submissions including the content you provide (problem description, reframing, outcome), your name, email, and optional affiliation.
  • Chat interactions — messages you type into AI-powered chat features.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information including browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies for session management and analytics. See Section 5 below.

Information from Third-Party Services

If you authenticate through a third-party service (e.g., Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication), we may receive your name, email address, and profile identifier from that service, subject to your privacy settings with that provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • Send you updates about products and services you have expressed interest in (e.g., early access notifications). You may opt out at any time.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience.
  • Review and potentially publish story submissions (only with your consent as indicated by the publishing release checkbox).
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating the Services (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and authentication, analytics providers).
  • Legal authorities when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

4. AI Chat Data

When you use AI-powered chat features, your messages are processed by third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini via the Genkit framework) to generate responses. We may retain chat logs for service improvement and research purposes. Chat interactions are associated with anonymous session identifiers, not your personal identity, unless you voluntarily provide identifying information in the chat.

Do not submit sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, passwords) through the chat features.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We may also use analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Services. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Early access email addresses are retained until the associated product launches and you are notified, after which you may unsubscribe. Story submissions are retained indefinitely for potential editorial use per the publishing release.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Texas residents: Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), you have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
